This is an eye gel with a combination of agents designed for people with dry eyes (chronic tear dysfunction). It provides added protection from persistently irritated, dry, gritty, painful eyes by calming and relieving symptoms. Artelac Nighttime Gel aims to give you lasting hydration at night, when the symptoms of dry eye can be worse .
Dry eye happens when your eyes lose some of their ability to produce normal tears and is a common condition. It occurs for a number of reasons, including age and environmental factors such as air conditioning.
Artelac Nighttime gel is a highly viscous formulation providing three layers of film stability for overnight comfort, all of which provide lasting hydration to combat dry eyes. It contains:
- Trigylceride lipids – seal in moisture
- Carbomer gel – prolongs adhesion to the surface of the eye
- Sterile water – compensates for water loss.
