Here at Marks Tey Pharmacy, Colchester, we are able to offer consultations with our Pharmacist Independent Prescriber. This service is only available when qualified Pharmacist is on duty.
A pharmacist independent prescriber (IP) is responsible and accountable for the assessment of patients with diagnosed or undiagnosed conditions and for decisions about the clinical management required including prescribing. Independent prescribers are playing a critical role in delivering care especially in communities such as Marks Tey without a local GP practice.
We are normally able to see you without an appointment. Especially during the busy winter season it is very useful to access a medical professional at a convenient time.
