Indicated for a wide range of moderately to highly exuding wounds including pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, and traumatic wounds such as skin tears and surgical wounds. Can be used as part of a prophylactic therapy to help prevent skin damage, such as pressure ulcers.
This is a bordered foam dressing shaped to conform to the sacrum. Consists of a soft silicone wound contact layer, an absorbent foam pad containing a silver compound and activated carbon, a layer with superabsorbent fibres and a film backing.
